7th March 2023 - Rear Kitchen extension

L G Blower recently completed the brick and block work on my self build during autumn 2022.

Lee was always available to talk if I wanted to discuss anything and he was very knowledgeable. He was always happy to assist in arranging materials if needed also.

Lee’s team were fast workers but also very tidy workers, leaving a very high standard of brickwork finish and always tidying up the rubbish as they worked.
The workers were always on site early.

Lee got the initial quote to me very quickly. He was able to accommodate my job around his existing jobs meaning he was able to start soon after the quote acceptance.

In conclusion I would highly recommend L G Blower. Great Team of people leaving a very high standard of workmanship.

14th February 2023 - Self-build - Bricklaying Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Whilst trying to find a reliable builder to do a small job for me (removing an old front porch and replacing it witha new oak porch), enouraged by reading the reviews online re L.G Blower, I contacted them.  Although the company said they were very busy and would not be able to start the work for 6months, they arrived to evaluate the job, sent out a quote when they said they would.  The actual works began on the date give, it was carried out to the highest level, the site was always left clean and tidy, the men always pleasant and polite.  I would not hesitate to recommend this company and would definitely use them again.  Can't thank them enough for a job well done.

The team was really fantastic and the end product actually exceeded our expectations.  From the outset we knew that we had chosen wisely but everyone contributed to making it a great success.  Importantly, we knew we could trust each and every one that worked on site each day and that mattered an awful lot to us.

The quality of the finished product is excellent and throughout we felt the team had our best interests in mind.   It feels a bit unfair to pick out any staff in particular but we would like to make special mention of Ellie and Simon.  

Ellie's advice and guidance was always reassuring, especially when it came to choosing kitchen parts and flooring.  Simon's work ethic and drive for top standards is amazing.  However, he always put us as the customer first and was such a reassuring and knowledgeable presence throughout the build period.

We are thrilled with the new space and you and the team will be highly recommended by us.  Thank you so much for everything.

As soon as we met Lee and Nick, we knew that they were the right people to have build our new home. The quote we received was very comprehensive and competitive. They were very professional at all times, their knowledge and advice received was extremely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they had advice and ideas if we were uncertain on decisions that needed to be made. Whenever we phoned them, Ellie, Beth and everyone working in the office would always know the every detail of where the build was at and any query would always be answered promptly. We received excellent customer service the whole way through. Every person that attended site was professional, focused and polite and the quality of workmanship was very high throughout the whole of the build. Right from first contact it was clear we were working with a professional team. Our roof needed complete removal & replace with some changes. Quotation requested, it was indicated the first opportunity for appointment was 4 weeks, they turned up for the appointment on the time stated. Our requirements were not straight forward, some work could only be seen when the existing roof was removed, different options made clear with the potential for additional costs. The quotation was supplied, clear for the work they would complete & competitive compared with 3 other quotes, unfortunately no surprise a long time window. They started 4 days after the specified date, but progress was as indicated, with clear site meetings, clear discussions of different options from the un-specified work with a clear indication of addition costs during progress. They completed in the time specified to a very good standard. An excellent company to work with, clear at every step as indicated, unlike most.

3rd September 2017 - Tony Jones, Telford

They carefully repointed some sections of the Grinshill stone walls of the house ensuring it would be in keeping with previous pointing. They replaced a section of guttering and repaired another section to prevent rainwater leakage. Whilst with us they were also very helpful in fixing a couple of jobs which I was incapable of dealing with.

Lee and Nick were very good to deal with and the job was good value for money from our point of view. We will be asking them to do more work for us in the future and have no hesitation recommending L G Blower to others.
